“Come back to Sam Sao” is the Vietnamese movie by Xuan Chan, Dan Thanh director. The movie tells about Sung Trinh, a Meo ethnic’s beautiful girl, fell in love with Thao Su, a boy in the same village. Commander of the Meo village, Giàng Giao kidnaped Sung Trinh to force her into marrying with him, and forced Thao Su to serve as coolie for French colonialist. After the wedding day, Sung Trinh fled into the forest, giving a birth in the mountain. Thao Su escaped from coolie to seek for Sung Trinh but not meet her. The Vietnam Revolution has succeeded. Giang Giao has gathered supports from the outside imperialists to against the Vietnam Revolution, proclaiming himself Meo ethnic’s King.
